Chicken Korma


Ingredients
:


● Chiken  ---- 1kg
● Chopped Onions  ----  2 pcs
● Plain Yoghurt ----  250gm
● Garlic and Ginger paste  ---- 2tbsp
● Coriander powder ----   2 tbsp
● Red chili powder  ----  2 tsp
● Salt (according to taste)
● Green and Black Cardamom ----  2 each
● Black pepper  ----  8 pcs
● Cloves  ----  6 pcs
● Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Mace in powdered from mixed  ----  1/2 tsp
● Cooking oil  ----  1 1/2 cup

Steps:

1. Firstly you need to boil chicken, in two cups of water until little amount of water is left and chicken is slightly tender.
2. In a different pot fry chopped onion until it turns light brown. Drain off oil
from fried onion.
3. Blend yoghurt and onion together and make a thick paste.
4. Add ginger and garlic paste, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, green and black cardamom, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon-nutmeg-mace powder to the chicken which is left slightly tender.
5. Pour yoghurt and onion mixture into the chicken and lastly pour oil in which onions were fried, into the chicken.
6. Cook all these ingredients properly until the oil comes up to the surface.
7. Pour 2 glasses of water and leave it to simmer for approximately twenty minutes. Serve it hot with rice or Naan bread.
Make sure you supply ample side dishes, such as samosas and mango chutney!
