Chicken Tikka Masala originated from India and it is very popular among all the non vegetarian dishes. Tikka means bits or pieces of chicken that are grilled to add in creamy gravy to give a smoky flavor to the dish. It is then served with hot naans (Indian Bread) to give a perfect taste. There are several restaurants and hotels all over the world which offers chicken tikka masala. This Indian dish always makes an impact on people who love to eat chicken.

One can make chicken tikka masala at home with the reference of this recipe.

Ingredients:

● Take 1 kg of Chicken and cut it into little pieces
● Take 5 tablespoons of yogurt.
● 4 tablespoons of ginger paste.
● 2 teaspoons of ginger paste.
● 2 teaspoons of garlic paste.
● 4 tablespoons of garam masala.
● 3 tablespoons of chili powder.
● 1 teaspoons of pepper powder.
● 3 tablespoons of lime and lemon juice.
● 2 finely chopped onions.
● 1 tablespoons of chopped garlic.
● 5 cardamoms
● 4 tablespoons of tomato puree
● 2 tablespoons of sugar
● 4 tablespoons of thick cream.
● 3 tablespoons of cooking oil

Method:

Heat the cooking oil in a pan and add cardamoms, chopped garlic and allow them to heat till they get brown. Then add, tomato puree, sugar, 1 teaspoon of chilly powder, salt, almond paste, garam masala and mix them all well. Heat the mixture for few minutes till it gives out an aromatic smell, then add the pieces of chicken tikkas and mix them well. Allow them to heat for 15 minutes at low flame and continue to stir the mixture for some time. Serve the dish with hot chapattis or naans and enjoy the most popular dish with friends and family.
